The short version
We collect the minimum we need to run the service. We don't sell your data. You own everything you generate. You can delete your account and your avatars at any time.
1. Who we are
AI Avatar (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal information collected through this site and the avatar generation product. Contact: hello@ai-creator.academy.
2. What we collect
- Account data — email address, password hash, billing details handled by our payment processor.
- Avatar configuration — the chips, sliders, and color choices you set in the configurator (gender, age, heritage, hair, eyes, skin, build, height, vibe, face shape).
- Reference uploads — any photo you upload to guide the avatar identity. Stored only as long as needed to lock the persona.
- Generated assets — images and videos rendered from your avatar, kept in your account so you can re-download them.
- Usage telemetry — pages viewed, clicks, errors — used to fix bugs and improve the product. No third-party ad trackers.
3. What we do with it
- Run the avatar generator and your account.
- Process payments through Stripe.
- Send transactional email (receipts, password resets).
- Improve the product through aggregated, anonymised analytics.
We never sell your data and we don't use your generations or uploads to train third-party models.
4. Who we share it with
The minimum required vendors:
- Stripe — payments. Stripe receives your billing info directly; we never see your card number.
- Immersive AI (ai.im.inc) — our AI inference platform. Every image and video render is sent through them; they in turn route to underlying models (Nano Banana 2 for images, Seedance for video, ElevenLabs for voice) under their vendor terms. Your prompts and reference images go through this pipeline.
- Cloud hosting — our infrastructure provider stores your account and assets in encrypted form.
- Email — transactional email provider for receipts and account messages.
5. Where it lives
Account data is stored in encrypted databases hosted in the EU and US. Generated assets are stored on object storage in the same regions. We don't transfer your data outside these regions without standard contractual safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
- Active accounts — for as long as you keep the account.
- Cancelled accounts — 30 days, then deleted.
- Reference photos — deleted within 7 days of avatar lock.
- Generated assets — kept until you delete them or your account.
- Billing records — 7 years, as required by law.
7. Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to:
- Show you a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Export your avatar files and generated assets.
- Stop processing your data for analytics.
Email privacy@ai-creator.academy and we'll respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies for sign-in sessions and a privacy-respecting analytics cookie. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.
9. Children
The service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we'll email you and post a prominent notice on the site at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
